As a Millennial, there is no shortage of tropes for what we as a generation are doing “wrong”.

We always need to work harder. Have more kids. Spend less on pets. Go to college by any means necessary. Take whatever job we get. Move out of your parents house. Just work harder. Say you’re welcome instead of no problem.

I could go on.

One of the most common tropes out there: cut out the avocado toast.

Avocado Toast: The bane of Millennial existence. It’s taking us out, one by one, shoving us deeper a deeper into a bottomless pit of socio-economic depravity and hopelessness.

Whatever will we do?

Some “experts” will tell you there is only one cure: stop eating it.
